OVERVIEW
Stellar Jay is a rooftop restaurant, sitting atop the Populus hotel in Denver. 970 Design created the brand identity, proposing the name, "inspired by the iconic bird of Colorado, evoking a sense of altitude, celestial views, and the bold spirit of this species." To bring this concept to life, I created hand-drawn illustrations of the Jay's wings and signature mohawk. I then took pieces of the drawings and integrated them subtly into the menu designs. These illustrations have become an integral part of the brand, showing up on the ice cubes, coasters, and the digital environment.
